Happenings at the Parish.
First Friday Adoration
Every First Friday of the month, St. Ambrose hosts Eucharistic Adoration from 8:30am (after mass) until 11:15am with Benediction. Please come join in prayer for our vocations to religious life.
Every 2nd Thursday of the month, Mother of Perpetual Help Devotions and the Rosary are said at 6:00pm.
Every 3rd Saturday of the month, Ultreya is held at 9:00am, where there is prayer time, witness talk, and sharing time.

Parish Council Minutes
Members Present: Sara Berry, Billie Jo Sadler, Brenda Miller, Robert Grojean, David Kirchdoerfer, Darren Landewee, Diane Eftink and Father Kelly.
Opening Prayer was led by Father Kelly.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read. Motion to approve the minutes by Brenda Miller, seconded by Sara Berry. Motion Carried.
St. Ambrose School Report:
The 1st day of School was August 20, 2020.
The Dinner Auction will be done virtually this year.
PSR-Diane Eftink advised that PSR will begin on August 30, 2020. All class rooms are being prepared due to the COVID-19 per the Diocese and CDC. We have 10 students at this time. There are approximately 17 letters mailed to parents of those who are candidates for Confirmation. Confirmation is now a two-year process and this is the 1st year for St. Ambrose Parish. We will not have Bible Study this fall due to the COVID-19.
Youth- Sara Berry advised that she has some ideas in mind for the Youth.
The Financial Report was presented and discussed. Motion to approve the financial report by Sara Berry, seconded by Billie Jo Sadler. Motion Carried.
Maintenance Report- The roof in the choir loft has been fixed.
Cemetery- Darren Landewee recommended the parish could put in a French drain to help with the drainage problem at the cemetery. The cost would be approximately $1,500,00 for the excavator and approximately $2,000.00 for materials. Discussion was then heard. It was decided to proceed with this.
Social-August 23, 2020 meet and greet for Father Kelly at noon. Bring a lawn chair.
Liturgy/Worship – Father Kelly advised that he received a phone call from the Bishop and the care for St. Edwards cemetery at Dutchtown is going to be turned over to St. Ambrose Parish. St. Ambrose has to make sure the cemetery is mowed.
Father Kelly thanked Sara Berry and David Kirchdoerfer for their service and time on the Parish Council.
The next meeting will be September 17, 2020 at 6:00 P.M.
