First Friday AdorationEvery First Friday of the month, St. Ambrose hosts Eucharistic Adoration from 8:30am (after mass) until 11:15am with Benediction. Please come join in prayer for our vocations to religious life.

Prayer ServicesEvery 2nd Thursday of the month, Mother of Perpetual Help Devotions and the Rosary are said at 6:00pm.
Every 3rd Saturday of the month, Ultreya is held at 9:00am, where there is prayer time, witness talk, and sharing time. |

Parish Council Minutes - February 23, 2023
Members Present: Kenny Dohogne, Brandy Schaefer, Richard Graviett, Mary Beth Owens, Diane Eftink, Father Kelly.
The meeting was opened with a prayer led by Diane Eftink.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read. Motion to approve the minutes by Kenny Dohogne, seconded by Mary Beth Owens. Motion Carried.
St. Ambrose School Report- Lent is under way and will have Stations of the Cross with the Kids every Friday. Catholic Schools week was canceled and is being moved to the week of February 27th.
All St. Ambrose teachers are returning next year.
PSR- All is going well.
Youth- Father advised that the DYC will be March 24th and 25th, 2023 at St. Vincent De Paul Parish in Cape Girardeau. Father advised that a few youths are interested in the Stubenfield Conference.
The financial report was presented. Motion to approve the financial report by Brandy Schaefer, seconded by Richard Graviett. Motion Carried.
Maintenance Repair- Richard Graviett advised that he checked the pews for any repairs needed.
Social – The Daughters had there Euchre Tournament on February 19 and all went well. Grief Share group at Guardian Angel Church is going well. Alumni basketball and volleyball was discussed.
Father advised that he would like to do a Trivia night to benefit the school.
Liturgy & Worship – Father will be implementing Ember Days and explained this and will put something in the bulletin.
Old Business- Discussion was then heard on the shrine that will be built in the old confessional in the back of church. Father will be putting an article out for each of the four saints that was chosen.
The Council talked about taking up a collection to help pay for the shrine.
The next meeting will be April 27, 2023.
The meeting closed with a prayer led by Father Kelly.
