First Friday AdorationEvery First Friday of the month, St. Ambrose hosts Eucharistic Adoration from 8:30am (after mass) until 11:15am with Benediction. Please come join in prayer for our vocations to religious life.

Prayer ServicesEvery 2nd Thursday of the month, Mother of Perpetual Help Devotions and the Rosary are said at 6:00pm.
Every 3rd Saturday of the month, Ultreya is held at 9:00am, where there is prayer time, witness talk, and sharing time. |

Parish Council Minutes
Members Present: Richard Graviett, Billie Jo Sadler, Kenny Dohogne, Katie Glueck, Diane Eftink, and Father Kelly.
The meeting was opened with a prayer led by Father Kelly.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read. Motion to approve the minutes by Billie Jo Sadler, seconded by Richard Graviett. Motion Carried.
School Report:
Father advised that he took the 5th to the 8th Grade girls to the Benedictine Monastery on March 25th and it was highly successful.
Father advised that he took the 5th to the 8th Grade boys to the Basilica and the Seminary in St. Louis on April 28th and was successful.
The last Day of School is Friday, May 20th.
St. Ambrose school is currently slated to have 89 students for next school year.
Father advised that Geri LeGrand was hired to teach 1st and 2nd Grade and Mrs. Bobbie Holland to teach 5th and 6th Grade. He advised they are currently looking for someone for after school care.
PSR:
April 10th was the last day of PSR for this year. Diane advised that Bible Study will begin in July at St. Ambrose. They will be studying “Unlocking the Mysteries of the Bible.”
Confirmation will be Wednesday, June 15th at 7:00 P.M.
Youth- A youth meeting was held in April.
The Financial Report was presented. Motion to approve the financial report by Billie Jo Sadler, seconded by Richard Graviett. Motion Carried.
Maintenance Repair: Richard advised that he replaced some light bulbs and is doing ongoing repair to the pews. He advised that he and Kenny Dohogne are pressure washing the outside of church.
Social – Trivia Night on April 28th raised $500.00.
Liturgy and Worship- Holy Week and Easter went well. Father advised that he is continuing the 5:30 P.M. Mass at St. Ambrose. Confessions will be heard from 4:45 P.M. to 5:15 P.M.
Father advised that he is starting a 1st Saturday Mass at Guardian Angel at 6:30 A.M.
The next meeting will be August 18th.
The meeting closed with a prayer led by Father Kelly.

Daughter’s Meeting
April 21, 2022
President, Linda Yarbro called the meeting to order and led the opening prayer.
Minutes were read & approved.
Treasurer’s Report: Balance as of April 21 is $6317.45; which includes Bake Sale profits of $1330.00, Euchre tournament profit of $353.05 and dumpling proceeds of $3920.50
OLD BUSINESS
Confirmation Day of Reflection will be held on May 7 for confirmation candidates from Chaffee and Oran and their sponsors. Begins with Mass at 8am. Daughters were asked to serve a light breakfast and light lunch. Will serve donuts, breakfast bars, fruit cocktail, orange juice, coffee and milk for breakfast. Lunch will consist of BBQ sandwiches, chips, cookies, tea & lemonade.
Confirmation for St. Ambrose will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 15 at 7pm. A reception will be held following Mass with cake, cupcakes and punch.
DCCW Spring Assembly will be April 22-23 at Drury Plaza, Cape. Daughter’s have donated a “Dumpling Dinner” basket for the raffle and a purse for auction.
The Daughter’s organization is in need of a Vice President and Secretary for the coming year. Anyone interested please contact Linga Yarbro.
NEW BUSINESS
A Mass will be offered for the 8th and 12th grade graduates.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
40 Hour Adoration will be held at Guardian Angel, Oran May 6th-8th. St. Ambrose parishioners are invited to make some time for this Eucharistic Adoration.
Next meeting will be September 15. Room count was 8. Circle 1 next bereavement.
Meeting adjourned and all joined in prayer.
