First Friday AdorationEvery First Friday of the month, St. Ambrose hosts Eucharistic Adoration from 8:30am (after mass) until 11:15am with Benediction. Please come join in prayer for our vocations to religious life.

Prayer ServicesEvery 2nd Thursday of the month, Mother of Perpetual Help Devotions and the Rosary are said at 6:00pm.
Every 3rd Saturday of the month, Ultreya is held at 9:00am, where there is prayer time, witness talk, and sharing time. |

DAUGHTERS MEETING
September 17, 2026 Meeting called to order in prayer by Father. Minutes read and approved. Treasurer report read and approved. Thank you notes read from Sadler family for the bereavement dinner. And thank you note from Doris Eftink for helping pay for bus to Eucharistic Congress. OLD BUSINESS Bereavement—One dinner since last meeting, circle 5 was in charge. Next bereavement will be this week. Due to other commitments for circle 1 leaders, circle 4 has volunteered to take this meal. Prayer Shawls—Shawls have been given out to Marcella Schlosser, Greg Eftink, Ina Eftink, and Carol Slinkard. Dumplings—Dates to make dumplings have been set for September 26, October 31, and November 14. Diana Knutson will be contacting workers. Little Flower—First meeting was Sept 16. Parents of the children took care of the refreshments this time. Altar Cloths---Father has been in contact with Sister Sophia, the ball is rolling on this project Sanctuary Lamp—The lamp was purchased in August. Alice has it for cleaning. The cost was more than originally planned. Motion made and approved to cover the full cost. Officers/Commitees---New Treasurer assigned. Brandy Schaefer is assuming the office of treasurer from outgoing treasurer Diane Cook. Spirituality committee has been taken on by Mary Chapman and Diane Eftink. Still need head for Service, Leadership, & Fellowship committees. NEW BUSINESS Dinner Auction---Motion made and approved to donate monetary amount to the school dinner auction. Regional CCW dues—Motion made and approved to pay dues. Deanery 6 CCW Quarterly Meeting ---will be Tuesday 29 @ St Joseph in Scott City. Rosary at 5:30pm in church, Mass 6:00pm, Refreshments and meeting will follow in the school gym. We will donate an item for the silent action. PCCW Sunday--- Mass October 4, all ladies invited to attend and participate Fellowship---Women’s trip the River Ridge Winery is being planned to encourage an afternoon of fellowship for the ladies of the parish. Plans are being made for November 8. A flier will be passed out at church to inform all ladies of the event. Father Kelly Birthday—Voted to give monetary gift to father for his birthday Oct 11. Father’s Report—Bosco Night for boys and fathers was well attended with 22 boys. Father is grateful for the Seven sisters apostolate started at both parishes. It consists of at least 7 women from each parish committed to one hour per week in prayer for our parish priest. There is a high school youth group event planned for October 18. OCIA classes have begun and starting off well attended. Of those attended there are about 12 interested in joining the church. Father visited Kenrick Seminary; there are 8 young men from our diocese starting this year.
